<p>That&#8217;s right, I was out of the office for most of the week  so I missed all the excitement!</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been keeping an eye on <a href="http://www.wolframalpha.com/">Wolfram Alpha</a> for a while and wondering what <a href="http://www.google.co.uk/">The Big G</a> was doing behind closed doors &#8211; yesterday the curtain was drawn aside and all revealed.</p>
<p>Google announced a number of changes to the search;</p>
<p><strong>Google Search Options</strong> &#8211; a cheeky extra list of parameters to further cut down/re-organise your search results.</p>
<p><strong>Wonder Wheel</strong> &#8211; a crazy looking tool that gives you a visual representation of subjects/searches related to the keyphrase you searched for.</p>
<p><strong>Google Squared</strong> &#8211; taking on Wolfram Alpha head on Google Squared attempts to go a step further than just providing search listings and provide actual information. It&#8217;s like what <a href="http://uk.ask.com/?o=312&amp;l=dir">Jeeves</a> dreams about doing but can&#8217;t.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.seomoz.org/blog/did-google-change-seo-yesterday">Rand has done an excellent summary of the changes</a> over on the Moz but it looks pretty exciting!</p>
<p>The question is, will it mean a change to the way we search? And will that mean a change for SEO?</p>
