Phil is meticulous to say the least – don’t be surprised to hear phrases like “the system must be specified to the atomic level”. A master of the attention to detail and with a plethora of experience encompassing network administration, coding, and database architecture, Phil applies his carefully honed skills to analysing and specifying business processes and online systems which help clients integrate digital with new and existing business operations. Phil has been known to enjoy the occasional pint of real ale and has a soft spot for all things VW, especially his beautiful Camper Van - a true home from home!
Experience
Phil graduated in Physics when the internet was finding its feet. A founder member of Bloom, Phil's technical career has evolved with the internet itself and he has gained extensive experience working in all the layers required to design, build and run a successful digital campaign. In his current role, Phil shapes the technical aspects of the web solutions we produce - assessing the business requirements, specifying how these can be achieved using digital technologies and quality assuring our developments to ensure that all systems meet the highest standards of robustness and scaleability.
